He came, he saw, and he set hearts aflutter with his charming looks in Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. Imran Khan, the new heart-throb in tinsel town, has gone for an image makeover for his next venture - Kidnap - that’s ready for release.

Here’s the latest interview he gave to the media in which he talks about his upcoming movie and future projects.

# Is he happy with his new look?

“I was really nervous, as the character was a little out of my comfort zone. But, it turned out pretty well, and I got a positive feedback,” says Imran.

# Did he deliberately take up a character with dark undertones?

“They offered me this film, and I jumped at the opportunity. It was really that simple,” says he. Talking about the change, he says, “Firstly, it was the buzzed haircut. I also sport a Mohawk, and my look is much meaner and harder. I had to sport the bulk look which was hard, as it’s difficult for me to put on weight.”

# So, how did he manage finally?

“I just slept a lot!” says he.

# You would also be seen with Kamal Haasan’s daughter, Shruti after working with Minissha Lamba and Sanjay Dutt in Kidnap. How was the experience working with them?

“Shruti and me go back a long way, so it was a completely different thing. Minissha and I got to know each other on the sets. And, it was fantastic working with Sanjay. We got along really well. My character couldn’t have done well without him,” says the actor.

# Does he feel like a star yet?

“I don’t,” pat comes the reply. “I don’t think people even bother,” he says matter-of-factly.

# What does he do when he isn’t working?

“Watch movies. I love movies with a psychotic passion. I prefer watching something light to put me in a good and a light mood. The recent films I enjoyed were Rock On!! and The Dark Knight - which was fantastic,” he replies.

# So, is he a superhero fan?

“Absolutely, and I am a comic book geek. I also have the first-ever Batman comic which is a collector’s item,” he states proudly.

The actor would next be focusing his energies on Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly.
